Mark Doherty is a government relations professional who manages accounts within Novel Strategies’ state affairs division. He is skilled in policy research, strategic communications, and legislative analysis across a range of sectors.

At Novel Strategies, Mark researches and tracks legislation across all fifty states, prepares letters and memoranda, and supports client communication efforts. A Massachusetts native, he previously gained experience in ESG communications, Massachusetts government relations, and local politics and campaigns, including Senator Ed Markey’s successful 2020 re-election campaign.

Mark graduated cum laude from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a BA in Political Science and honors from Pi Sigma Alpha.
