Mark Doherty is a government relations professional who manages accounts within Novel Strategies’ state affairs division. He is skilled in policy research, strategic communications, and legislative analysis across a range of sectors.

At Novel Strategies, Mark researches and tracks legislation across all fifty states, prepares client testimonies, and develops high impact communication material. A Massachusetts native, he previously gained experience in ESG communications, and local Democratic politics and campaigns, including Senator Ed Markey’s successful 2020 re-election campaign.

Mark graduated cum laude from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a BA in Political Science and honors from Pi Sigma Alpha.
